Pure Inspiration

As I am signing about 120 of my paintings today, I came across this amazing video of some of the members of the Group of Seven. It's pure gold. It's why I do what I do.
On the signing note, I'd be interested to know what other painters think about this. Do you sign while it's still wet? I do sometimes. Others not. I do always initial them while the paints wet. I'm sending a bunch off to a gallery in the next couple of days. Oops. Cat's out of the bag. Kind of a big deal, but I just got my first representation offer and I couldn't be more excited. More on that to come in the near future.
Here's 1 of 4 stacks that have been varnished and are almost ready to go.
Anyways, back to the signing thing. I know I'm probably breaking some rules, but I've been varnishing, then signing. As probably 50% of the time, I have to wipe and sign again if the colours aren't right. It's wierd, but I think the signature really takes away from the work if it's at all a focal point. I try to make it very subtle, with a harmonious colour. But then again, if there's lot's of whitespace, I've signed in a bold, loud colour and used it as a design element. I would love to know others thoughts on how you sign your work.
